Five things we learnt from Chelsea and their draw with Sunderland

Calm down Costa!Chelsea continued their unbeaten run away to Sunderland taking the total now to an impressive 13 league games.

Though after a straight forward midweek 5-0 win, what was expected to be a pretty easy game for the league leaders against a struggling team proved to actually be quite tricky.

The Black Cats gave a master class in defending ultimately holding Chelsea to a surprising goalless draw.

Despite being unable to break through Gus Poyet’s men the visitors will be happy with their clean sheet and superior possession.

The draw keeps Chelsea on top with a six point gap and the expectation of an ‘invincibles’ season only grows stronger.
