One of the more sensational results of the weekend was from Aston Villa hammering floundering Sunderland 4-0.The game proved to be the final nail in Sunderland manager Gus Poyet’s coffin, but fortunes couldn’t be more different for Aston Villa manager (and savior) Tim Sherwood.
Sherwood has made a team who had to cancel their October 2014 Goal of the Month competition after they didn’t score a single goal in the entire month into one that has won twice in a row in the league and scored a whopping six goals in order to obtain those crucial six points.
Hopefully the FA begins an investigation imminently into his blatant use of witchcraft; in the mean time Aston Villa are surely set to avoid relegation yet again.
