City slip, Burnley boyantWelcome to the first instalment of my new weekly column – the aptly titled “Pulham’s Points.”

Every Tuesday, I’ll be tearing through the weekend’s Premier League results and relaying my thoughts on the games and players through a series of three key points (because, you know, football. It’s all about three points.)

This weekend was full of goals and shock wins in the Premier League, and was all about the emphatic win and the clean sheet.

There were comfortable results and clean sheets at the top of the table as Arsenal comfortably defeated an injury- depleted West Ham team 3-0, and Wayne Rooney delivered one heck of a TKO to Tottenham Hotspur as Manchester United eased to a 3-0 win at Old Trafford.

It was business as usual for the top of the table, but the real fun was had at the other end of the table, where teams that have been dancing around the relegation zone ruled the roost, and the results showed that the games are still anyone’s to win if you work hard enough.

Without further ado, click on Tim Sherwood to see what points got Pulham talking this weekend.
