Fresh from scoring his first ever goal for United this month, Marouane Fellaini has confirmed what we all already knew about the Red Devils.
Addressing the squad’s ability to go forward but leak goals at the back Fellaini stated ‘we have a problem with the balance between defence and attack.’
The 6ft4 Belgian has struggled since his move to Old Trafford back in September last year and despite calls for him to be moved on Fellaini believes he can deliver further saying:‘I have waited a long time to score my first goal for Manchester United and I hope to score more.’
Due to an increase in form recently Fellaini has found more playing time under Van Gaal and appears to have regained some confidence which may have come just in time to save him from a January transfer.
