Get Benteke firing again

It seems so long ago that Benteke was being linked with a huge money move to one of the Premier League’s elite sides – and Sherwood has to get him firing again.

Villa have struggled so badly for goals and that has been their biggest issue this season. Letting Darren Bent leave on loan with no recall clause was a huge mistake and now Sherwood will have to work with what he has – and that is Benteke.

He needs to get his confidence back, get those minutes under his belt and be allowed to play without thinking he will be dropped for missing a shot on goal.
