Five things Tim Sherwood needs to do to keep Aston Villa in the Premier League

Aston Villa moved swiftly to fill the hole left by the departure of Paul Lambert and decided that Tim Sherwood was their man.

Quite if that is the right decision remains to be seen but one thing is for sure – the Villa boss will have one hell of a job keeping his new side in the Premier League.

The club have flirted with relegation over the past couple of seasons and this term really look like they could go down and languish in the Championship – and Paul Lambert didn’t seem to have any ideas on how to change that and keep them in the top flight.

Sherwood will of course have his own ideas and solutions to their plight and here are five things we think he needs to rectify in order to save Aston Villa’s season.
