Five reasons West Ham CAN keep Alex Song at the club

So it seems that Alex Song is a pretty popular boy as his performances for West Ham United continue to improve and the fact that Manchester City are sniffing around the Barcelona player has not gone unnoticed.

City would ideally like to land Song in January but given that would take a huge amount of bad faith on the part of Barcelona who agreed to loan Song to the Hammers for the entire season, we think that a fight for his permanent signature in the summer is looking more plausible.

Not only will Sam Allardyce want to be front of the queue when that occurs Arsenal, Manchester United and the aforementioned City are all keen on Song.

After becoming a huge part of West Ham’s season this term, we think they may just be able to pull off a massive coup and land him permanently.
