When Juan Mata joined from Chelsea for a then club record fee of £37.1 million, many Manchester United supporters believed he was just the man to save United’s disastrous season.
From January to May, Mata appeared 15 times and scored six goals. The Red Devils still finished the season in an embarrassing 7th place but Mata’s performances and dedication to his new team were praised despite the difficulties experienced during his first few months.
Even before the attacking midfielder was given his debut, critics debated how he would fit into a squad that already had a very able playmaker in Wayne Rooney and if it was even possible for both players to work alongside each other.
This season under new manager Louis van Gaal, Mata is experiencing the same problems that led him to leave Chelsea as he spends more and more time on the bench.
Now with rumours that the player might be moving on in the next window here are five reasons why Mata WILL indeed leave United in January

I prefered mata to still remain in man u because he always walk to the success of the team. If LvG wants to enjoying mata let him use the formation he used against QpR that we won 4-0 and he started mata, u can see all what he played that day before he was substituted for falcao. Pls I urge LVG not to sell mata bks is a gud player.
