This summer has seen as many rumoured exits as additions at Old Trafford.
Reports from various media outlets have said up to six or seven players will be sent out on loan, sold, or included as part of a deal.
If some – or indeed any – of these rumours are true, Manchester United could be saying goodbye to some of the following names.
Marouane Fellaini, who has now managed to get himself injured. Great.
David Moyes’ star signing only joined United from Everton last summer, but it has been widely reported that the Belgian could be on his way out.
It is though that Fellaini will be joining Napoli on loan for a year.
Anderson and Nani have both fallen out of favour in the last year, and unsurprisingly they have both been linked in deals for other players.
Nani has been reported as part of the £38.5 million deal for Arturo Vidal (as was Javier Hernandez), and both Nani and Anderson were named as the rumoured players heading to Sporting Lisbon as part of the £16 million deal for Marcos Rojo.
It has now been confirmed that Nani will go to Sporting Lisbon on loan for the rest of the season as part of the Rojo deal.
Chicharito, who has seen his struggle to gain first team football at United last season also impact on his first team place in the Mexican national side.
It is thought that a handful of clubs including Inter Milan, Atletico Madrid and Southampton are keen to sign the Little Pea.
Chicharito has supposedly rejected a move to Southampton in favour of a European club. If Chicharito’s reported rejection is true, this links us directly to the next player who is thought to be on his way out of Manchester.
Danny Welbeck. Chicharito’s decision not to join Southampton led to them signing Shane Long, according to reports.
This then led Steve Bruce wanting to fill the gap left in his Hull side – and the man he wants is none other than Danny Welbeck.
It is thought that Bruce is willing to pay up to £14 million for Welbeck, who is considered to be out of favour under Louis van Gaal.
Wilfried Zaha is the final player who looks to be on his way out of Old Trafford.
Zaha was loaned out to Cardiff last season under David Moyes, and it is reported that he could suffer the same fate under Van Gaal, who apparently sees no place for him in the squad.
One of the latest reports is claiming that Zaha, along with Nani and Anderson have been ‘banished’ by LVG – the trio are meant to be training at different times to those on the first team, and cannot eat with their first teammates. Where will it end?
