Barcelona prepared to let Song go on loan for free

Our Footyettes are showing some serious interest in the claim from Metro, who seem to think that Barcelona are willing to let Alex Song go on loan for 12 months – for free.

Now whilst we think this is a sure sign that Barcelona and new boss Luis Enrique are pretty keen to get rid of the midfielder, it could well be the case that what is Barcelona’s loss is a massive gain for one of the sides in the Premier League.

Manchester United, Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur are all keen to land Song on a loan deal and all three sides could use someone in the middle of the park to shore things up and add that little bit of class that Song provides.

Not to mention the fact that he knows the Premier League and was more than impressive before his move to the Camp Nou during his time at Arsenal.
