Liverpool lost Luis Suarez and have now been handed another massive blow this summer according to the Daily Mirror after being forced to call off their move for Loic Remy.
The Reds had agreed personal terms with the Queens Park Rangers forward and only a medical was left to complete – which the French international failed, leading to the move being called off.
Liverpool were not the only club keen on the forward, who spent the season on loan at Newcastle, with Arsenal also considering a summer swoop.
Now it seems Remy may well be forced to spend the season helping QPR battle to stay in the top flight of English football if he cannot convince Liverpool to reignite their interest in him.
