What has been good, bad and downright awful… from an Arsenal fan

So, Arsenal have finally managed to win a trophy after nine years of waiting, and fans could not be more proud.

Arsene Wenger is once again being hailed as a football genius and the chance to troll Jose Mourinho has not gone amiss either.

After the FA Cup win, here is a look at the end of season review from an Arsenal fan’s point of view.

Best moment of the season? F.A Cup win obviously. A decade without a trophy would have been too much to deal with.

Best goal of the season? Wilshere vs Norwich, although Aaron Ramsey has a good shout at winning this with a few of his crackers too –least of all in the final against Hull!

Best result? Beating Tottenham 1-0 at the Lane. Sad I know, but that is what our season normally comes to. Not really keen on lauding a 3-2 extra time victory over Hull despite the trophy it brought.

Best player? Ramsey. Vital goals, key presence in the side. If only he could stay fit…

Worst moment? Walcott and Ramsey being injured for long spells. Killed our season.

Worst result? Not exactly loving this but there are a few to pick from. Let’s go with the 6-0 drubbing by Chelsea and the insufferable Mourinho.

Worst player? Arteta has come in for some stick from fans and might not be offered a new deal – that or Jack Wilshere who has failed to progress since breaking onto the scene. Time to step up now Jack.

Biggest f**k up? Not signing a striker in January. Standard Wenger.

Funniest moment? Oh, the selfie or the Walcott 2-0 sign to Spurs fans…

What needs to change? Wenger? The fact that the season does not end after Christmas? We need to sign a world class striker and a defensive midfielder- and cannot be cheap about it.

What needs to stay the same? Wenger? Now we have broken the trophy hoodoo, the Frenchman needs one more season to kick on and really deliver.

Who should go? Arteta

Who should stay? Ramsey. Both staying at the club and staying fit would be ideal.

Rating out of 10? 7 after that FA Cup win. Had we not managed that, it would have been 0.7.

In general:

Best player? Saurez. Sadly.

Best goal? Wilshere’s as previously stated.

Best club? Liverpool

Best manager? Pulis. What a job.

Worst manager? Moyes. Evidently.

Worst player? Ben Turner

Funniest moment? Pardew thinking it was acceptable to go and headbutt Meyler.

Who would you like to see in the PL next season? Blackburn – good club, great fans, proper old school stadium.

Who is a waste of space and should go? West Ham. Delusional fans who hope Allardyce leaves and would rather go down and play free flowing football, who boos a victory?

FINALLY, who will win the World Cup? Argentina.
