It has come as no shock to our Footyettes that axed Manchester United manager David Moyes has been receiving rather a lot of support from managers around the Premier League.
According to BBC Sport, the man who replaced him at Everton is no different.
Roberto Martinez has done sensationally well this term, and has taken Everton to the next level.
It has been widley acknowledged by everyone from the fans to the players that Martinez has been a breath of fresh air at Goodsion Park, with the Toffees right in the mix for a top four spot.
Martinez has changed the way Everton think – small club mentality is no more – and the style of football is far more expansive and entertaining. Not to mention they have racked up a fair few points as well, with Everton doing the double over Manchester United this season.
Despite Moyes being hailed as one of the worst managers in the league this term having only won 27 times in 51 matches and leaving United in 7th place – not to mention becoming a laughing stock with the majority of supporters and indeed the media, Martinez has no doubt he will bounce back.
“I am sure he will be ready to get into another job and I am sure he won’t have a lack of offers,” Martinez said.
“He will always be well thought of and we will always be thankful of the job he did at our football club.”
