Everton have pulled off a right coup, Lukaku is a top, top player with a proven ability to score goals at Premiership level, a quality which they have so desperately needed in the past few seasons. Beating West Brom, where he bagged 17 goals in 35 games last season (beating the target of 15 he set himself), Lukaku could well turn Martinez’s Everton into a side to keep a close eye on this year. Why Chelsea have decided to loan him out again is beyond us at Footyette headquarters and most people in football; especially when you have a player who still couldn’t hit a cow’s backside with a banjo playing upfront.
