Hi,

I’m Debbie, a Birmingham City fanatic and author of Truly Blue.  I am currently working as a midwife in Abu Dhabi whilst writing a second football related book.  I was born a ‘Bluenose’ with blue blood running through my veins.  My book ‘Truly Blue’ is a passionate fans tale following Birmingham City from 1973 to 2009.

I love football and I was lucky enough to have played football for Birmingham City Ladies in the mid 80’s.  I have followed Blues and England home and away since I was young, and even though I am now living in Abu Dhabi, I come home as often as I can.

My heroes? That would be the Birmingham team that beat Arsenal to win the Carling Cup at Wembley in 2011.
