Absolutely a future star, but boy does the kid have a temper.
Having said that, after his incredibly calm display of maturity after having Antonio Valencia’s hands around his neck and getting sent off against Ecuador – we can’t help but think the boy’s starting to grow into a good player mentally and physically.
He’s enjoyed a great season with Liverpool, and will benefit from having teammates Sturridge and Gerrard in the squad.
We wondered if he would get the nod to start – and after his performance against Italy, we want to see him in that eleven for the rest of the tournament.
