When Everton manager Roberto Martinez decided that Lukaku was worth signing a lucrative five year deal he would have based a lot of it on how the young player performed during his year-long loan spell with the club.
So far Lukaku has been consistent in his goal output for the side scoring 15 in 40 total appearances this season with just a slightly better ratio of 16 League goals from 33 total appearances last year.
He will only get better as he ages and when you consider it took the likes of Didier Drogba and Diego Costa until 25 to hit the big time, Everton could well have a top player on their hands.
