He is their top goalscorerSince getting Everton to a fifth placed finish in his first season as manager, Roberto Martinez has had a difficult second year with the Toffees sitting only six points adrift of the dreaded relegation zone.

While many things appear to be going wrong for the Spaniard, one decision he made may just keep his side up – the summer signing of Romelu Lukaku.

Lukaku has had a difficult few years after signing with Chelsea in 2011, making only ten Premier League appearances where he scored no goals and was farmed out on loan to West Bromwich Albion and then Everton.

Here are five things that show the positive impact Lukaku has made this season.
