Manager Sherwood targeted six wins from the eleven games the club had left before the match and with ten remaining they only have to win half of them after securing the first of the six. Not an easy task obviously but at least they are off the mark.

This was the first of a few crucial six pointers for Sherwood’s side and they have sent out a message to their relegation rivals by managing to win it.
