Finding that formation

Since switching to a three at the back, Liverpool have looked like a different side and a far better one at that.

Brendan Rodgers made the bold move – and make no mistake it was a gamble given how many times we have seen sides try and fail using a 3-4-3 formation (yep, LVG we mean you) but it has worked a dream.

Not only do the full backs look far more comfortable and in the case of Alberto Moreno add far more to the side going forward, but the three at the back look at ease and far happier when the opposition come at them. Even Kolo Toure looks decent at times and Mo Sakho has been excellent.
