Gordon will not replace Courtois

If we are being honest, the chances of Gordon replacing Courtois as Chelsea number one would be less than zero and the 32 year old would just be joining the Blues as a glorified benchwarmer.

Gordon has a good thing going at Celtic right now and is generating some pretty positive reviews – Inter Milan first leg aside – and going to Chelsea would be a massive error in terms of his game time and reputation.

The Blues may play in the Champions League and have title deciding clashes in the Premier League but the only action Gordon would be getting would be in the League Cup and that’s if he was lucky.
