Five things we learnt from Everton thrashing Young Boys

Everton surprised even themselves when they managed to put four goals past Europa League opponents Young Boys – and were superb on the night.

Even playing with ten men did not cause Roberto Martinez and his men many issues – and despite being the ones to go a goal down away from home, they rallied and showed the spirit we saw from them during Martinez’ first season in charge – and something that has been sorely lacking this term.

With passage to the next round all but secured, we have taken a look at five things we learnt from the Toffees and their manager.
