What should we make of that open letter from Poyet?

The Sunderland boss penned an open letter to fans talking about the season so far and it has certainly divided opinion.

While some of the Sunderland faithful are embarrassed and shocked at the letter, taking the view point that it should not have seen the light of day, there are others who feel Poyet did the right thing and are backing the manager.

Poyet is seen as the long term answer to the club’s problems by a section of the fans but there are others who think he is dragging the club down and will not back him even in the face of a million open letters.
