Where was the urgency?

Passing back, not pushing forward enough, not willing to tackle – all of these were issues Manchester United faced, especially at the back.

Urgency is needed in this team, or else they will find themselves in similar situations: the opposition will exploit these weaknesses to gain advantage, and score against United.

Leadership at the back has been lacking this season and LVG will want to rectify this as soon as he is able – in the meantime it is up to the likes of De Gea to stand up and be counted.
