Manchester United could not secure their seventh consecutive win, and had to settle for a 1-1 draw against Aston Villa.

Manchester United found themselves trailing 1-0 to the home side, but drew level thanks to Radamel Falcao – and showed some of the much needed never say die attitude that was missing for long periods at the start of the season and under David Moyes last term.

It may not have been the ideal result, but United and their manager will be pleased with the way they have left their top four challenge ahead of Christmas – and will know that it could be far worse.

With that in mind, we have put our heads together and come up with five things we learnt from the Red Devils this weekend.
