Mourinho has given Schurrle chances this season but he has failed to take them

It is not like Schurrle has been confined to the Chelsea bench and ten minutes at the end of a game.

Mourinho has given him plenty of chances to show what he can do this season – and he was even in the starting eleven at the beginning of the season in place of Willian.

The German failed to really impress Mourinho and has been singled out for criticism – which is fair enough on his displays.
