Five reasons Chelsea HAVE to swap Schurrle for Marco Reus

When a big deal takes place in world football, it is safe to say one of Chelsea or Jorge Mendes are usually involved at some point and it seems that the Blues have found themselves smack bang in the middle of any deal that might take place for Marco Reus.

The Borussia Dortmund player looks set on leaving the club as soon as he can, with rumours swirling over a January exit.

Not only that but the list of suitors for Reus grows longer and more prestigious by the day, and now Chelsea have joined the likes of Bayern Munich, Real Madrid and Arsenal (yes, we laughed a bit at the last one too) as interested parties.

The Blues and Mourinho of course have a huge cheque book and could offer Jurgen Klopp’s side a huge amount of money for Reus – but it seems they have something that the German side want more – and that could put them ahead in the race. Andre Schurrle, with the winger at the top of their wishlist.

With that in mind, we have put our heads together to come up with five reasons we think Chelsea have to make this deal happen.
