Wenger faffs around with a rubber duck whilst his title rivals sign players

The transfer window is open and the rumours are flying around. Sadly for Arsenal fans, they look like remaining just rumours, with manager Arsene Wenger pictured on beaches and in his very short, very tight swimming trunks whilst his title rivals seem to be buying players left, right and centre.

Of course this is not an unfamiliar sensation for Arsenal fans who have grown to despise the transfer window, knowing full well that they will have to wait until the very end and get players they may not necessarily want whilst their rivals march on.

It can also be quite painful for the Gunners to see their best players sold abroad or even to rival clubs *cough, cough RVP* and this summer Wenger has chosen to pass up the chance of re-signing Cesc Fabregas and allowed the former Arsenal skipper to join Chelsea of all clubs.

Whilst the Emirates Stadium faithful will tell you they are really not bothered, not bothered at all, just not bothered in the slightest that Cesc has joined Chelsea, they will admit concern that Liverpool, Chelsea, Manchester United and Manchester City seem to have stolen a march on them this window and are all confirming the signing of players.

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho even has time to go jet-skiing with his family, managing to look like a Portuguese James Bond, whilst Wenger potters around on a beach looking like a clueless moron.
