Swansea travelled to the KC stadium to play 14th placed Hull knowing a win for the home side would take them above their opponents to 13th, as both teams started the afternoon on 33 points.
Some dodgy marking from Swansea helped George Boyd open the scoring for the Tigers.
Though neither team played well, the Swans were exceptionally poor and all three points went to Hull.
With other teams consistently performing worse Hull’s 36 points should be enough to see them back in the Premier League next season.
