He is great value for money

Eden Hazard, at a year older than Eriksen, is raking in a massive amount of cash per week – that has only increased with his new deal. Alexis Sanchez is pretty much the same yet Eriksen is on far less money at £32,00 per week.

That is incomparable to his rivals and whilst it will clearly have to increase if Spurs want to keep him at the club, he will still be a far better bargain than most of the players in his position.

That becomes even more evident when you factor in the £11 million Spurs paid for Eriksen – and how much they will eventually sell him for.
