What is going on with Herrera

The midfield had no identity. It was not gelling well and the worst player in the middle was Ander Herrera.

His game was so off that he was almost unrecognisable. He seemed to pass only to Juan Mata, and so many of his passes were misplaced.

I lost count of how many of his passes ended up at the feet of a West Brom player.
