Emotional tribute to Rio

When the sad news broke that former Manchester United player Rio Ferdinand had lost his wife to cancer over the weekend, United fans flocked to social media to create a fitting tribute.

In the fifth minute (Rio’s old shirt number), fans chanted his name and clapped.

His name rung out throughout the entire game, to show respect to a man who had done so much for his former club.
