Domestic action has finally returned and while Cristiano Ronaldo showed all his doubters that he still has plenty of goals left in him, Chelsea took one step closer to the Premier League title and Manchester United went above neighbours Manchester City for the first time in a long time.
That might set up a pretty mouth-watering Manchester derby in time for next weekend but there was plenty of action over Easter – and with the defending Champions yet to play, it was a chance for the chasing pack to actually make it a real fight for second – and both Arsenal and United did that.
Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur look further away from the top four than ever after both dropping points and while nothing is decided yet, both ends of the table saw significant results.
With that in mind, here are four things to kick off my new column as La Footyettes editor, Rebecca’s Rants, that got me talking.
