Five reasons Newcastle should hope for three points against Man United

Manchester United fans never quite know what to expect from their side this season and funnily enough, Newcastle United fans would probably tell you the same.

Beating Chelsea and becoming the only side to do so in the Premier League at that point in the season but losing to rivals Sunderland and being hammered by Manchester City have all been par for the course, so predicting the final score against Manchester United is a bit of a job.

Given they have home advantage and the Toon Army backing them, John Carver and his players will want to at least put on a good show and give Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal something to think about and here is why we think Newcastle may actually be able to do even more than that.
