Not only are current club Manchester City trying to convince him to pen a new deal but both Arsenal and Liverpool are keen on the midfielder, with the latter reportedly closing in on signing him on a £90,000 per week deal – and what a coup that would be.

Not only would Liverpool be snatching up one of the most versatile players in the Premier League, but they would be landing him on a free transfer to boot and that is not something to be sniffed at.

Manchester City meanwhile would be in the position of having to replace Milner and would certainly have a bit of a task on their hands.
