One of the hallmarks of a great manager is knowing when to admit a change needs to be made – and not being afraid to make it, no matter what stage the game is at.
Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho would think nothing of taking two players off at half time or even before and Deila needs to be confident enough to make the right changes at the right time.
Ideally Celtic will want to control the game and be able to change things up around the 70 minute mark if needed or even better, use a sub to waste time and hold on to a result. This may not be a luxury they can afford but if Deila gets the changes right, they could well be victorious.
