Five things we learnt from Celtic after their win over Partick Thistle

With a tie the world will be watching against Inter Milan on the horizon, you could forgive Celtic for focusing on that and not their Scottish Premier League obligations – but as Partick Thistle found out, that was not the case.

In fact, Ronny Deila’s men have managed to put some daylight between themselves and the chasing pack at the summit of the league and were well worth the three points they took home with them.

In a make or break month for the club, things could not have got off to a better start and after being in the ascendancy from the first minute until the whistle blew, here are five things we noticed from the match.
