Rodgers is finally backing him

It has taken a goal and an assist, but finally it seems that Brendan Rodgers is offering some praise in Balotelli’s direction.

It is hard to escape the feeling that Rodgers was more than willing to use the Italian as a scapegoat once and will happily do so again if needs be, but for now, it seems he is backing his player.

No matter what a player will tell you, having the support and trust of their manager can go a huge way in improving their on the field displays and hopefully for Balotelli’s sake, that will be the case here.
