What managerial credentials does Sherwood actually haveAfter being linked with just about every managerial vacancy out there, Tim Sherwood has finally managed to land himself a job with Aston Villa.

The club let Paul Lambert go and decided that the man who took over at Tottenham Hotspur for half a season and was promptly let go is the man to keep them in the Premier League – despite there being far better and more experienced managers out there who could have taken the job – or even filled in on an interim basis until the end of the season.

Not exactly the fans favourite for the job, here are five reasons we think the club have made a massive error with their managerial appointment.

Ok I will bite. What a poor article. Sherwood plays an attractive style of football and doesn’t take any crap. He supports the younger players and is absolutely is the right manager for the club. If you don’t support the manager then you are part of the problem at the club. Villa haven’t made a mistake at all.

    I will bite too 🙂

    Problems with this article.

    1. Perhaps it was written by a bitter Scottish person???

    2. It was written by someone who knows nothing about football…look at the gender of the author 😉

It’s an appointment based upon optimism and the future. There’s been so much negativity around VP and this is welcome news. And talking of credentials… Don’t suppose the author has much to offer on that front. Certainly nothing football related
