That would heavily depend on two things – if they can keep the likes of Tomas Kalas and Bamford for another season and if they get promoted or not.
Going up would obviously afford them a bigger budget not to mention the need for a higher calibre of players and Karanka will have identified some spots in his squad that he feels need to be strengthened.
Now the manager has had a full season at the helm of the club, he will be in a far better position to see what needs changing to make them better and understand the Championship that little bit more and see that impact his transfer window as well.
