Mario BalotelliThe Premier League is one of the most intense in the world and the demanding fixture list brought a round of midweek games that certainly did not disappoint.

Goals, red cards, contentious decisions – all the usual talking points were there and before the FA Cup resumes this weekend, we had Chelsea facing a tough match against Everton at Stamford Bridge whilst their title rivals Manchester City went to Stoke to try and close the gap.

Click on free flowing goalscorer Chris Smalling to see who else has us talking this week.
