Five Liverpool players who have to shine for them to beat Besiktas

Liverpool may have crashed out of the Champions League but all is not lost considering the Reds are still in the Europa League and are actually one of the favourites to win it.

Before they can begin to think about lifting the trophy, they will have to make sure that they get past Besiktas, which will be no easy task given the Turkish side are no pushovers and have Demba Ba in their ranks.

Liverpool are sweating on the fitness of Raheem Sterling and are without skipper Steven Gerrard, suspended Lazar Markovic and injured Lucas – meaning their remaining players will have to be at the top of their game.
