Five reasons the best is yet to come for Everton forward Romelu Lukaku

Romelu Lukaku was hailed as the man to show a new era had arrived at Goodison Park.

The club, under Roberto Martinez, were finally willing and able to spend money on players and were no longer just hoping for a top ten finish and a cup run.

They want a European place, they want trophies if possible and they want to keep their best players.

It was that school of thought that saw the Toffees shell out £28 million on Romelu Lukaku, who of course spent a successful spell at the club on loan last season before making his move permanent in the summer.

Price tag aside, things have not really panned out the way Lukaku wanted them to so far but with the second half of the season now underway, here are five reasons Lukaku will shine and come May, supporters will be in no doubt he was worth the money.
