He IS a goalscorerWest Ham United are heading into the second half of the season fully in the knowledge that they have a chance to show everyone that they are not just a flash in the pan – and they can actually go the distance and finish in the top six.

The Hammers have every chance to do that – and the return to fitness and now form of Andy Carroll is a huge boost for Sam Allardyce and it could well be the big centre forward who makes the difference come the end of the season.

Much maligned at times, we are big Carroll fans and here are five reasons we think he could well be vital to the Hammers come the end of the season.

    If anything he hasent improved westham he’s made them worse by splitting up our amazing strike force but because Sam is a dummy who plays his bum buddy carrol instead, I would of thought he would have noticed that as soon as carrol comes back we drop to 7 and are struggling to score where as before we were scoring left right and centre as valencia would drift out and create space for sakho and carrol don’t do that sack Sam he’s rubbish!!!!! Sack Sam!
