Thorgan HazardChelsea are set to brace themselves for a bid for Hazard according to Metro but before their fans start to panic, it is worth noting that the Hazard in question is Thorgan, not Eden.

The Blues sent the younger of the two brothers out on loan at the start of the season and have seen him excel for Borussia Monchengladback who have been thrilled with the return of four goals and seven assists in 21 appearances and are pretty confident that the starlet will only get better.

So happy are they that a £6.3 million offer is thought to be on the table for the 21 year old who joined west London side Chelsea from Lens in 2012 – and looks like he could well one day be as good as his brother.

Given Chelsea are currently in negotiations with Eden Hazard over signing a new, long term deal at the club, selling his brother now may well be detrimental to that – not to mention the fact that 21 is a very tender age for a footballer who will only get better and increase his value as the seasons go on and his game develops.

It seems that the Blues would be far better off allowing Thorgan Hazard to remain with his suitors until the end of the season before making any rash decisions over his future – and make sure they are not doing a Nemanja Matic in a couple of seasons and buying the player back for more than they sold him for!

Chelsea fans. Would you like to cash in on Hazard or is his potential worth far more than a small offer from a small club? Let us know your thoughts below, become a guest blogger or tweet us @LaFootyettes.
