Things only seem to be getting worse for Liverpool.

Not only have they been forced to resort to handing their Player of the Month award to Kolo Toure – who only played a single Premier League game in the month of November, they have also just lost a huge game against Manchester United.

Brendan Rodgers may have chosen to drop goalkeeper Simon Mignolet, but the real issue at the heart of the Liverpool defence seemed to be Dejan Lovren – although Brad Jones did not exactly cover himself in glory either.
