Diego Costa Chelsea have somehow managed to bring sexy back to football and whilst that has surprised a fair few people, their manager Jose Mourinho is sitting back, relaxing and letting his players do all the work.

Last season it was all about parking the bus, with Mourinho having to pick from a group of players he did not have full confidence in and was not exactly enamoured with.

During his first spell at the club a decade ago, the Chelsea boss was all about rotation, swapping and changing his players when it suited him.

Now however he seems to have finally settled on a starting XI that he trusts and you know the game is a big one when you see the likes of Azpilicueta, Matic and John Terry on the teamsheet.

With that in mind, we have taken a look at Mourinho’s preferred line up and taken a look at just what each of them bring to the Chelsea side.

Click on Cesar Azpilicueta to unveil the XI Jose Mourinho has seemingly settled on and just what we think of them.

That would be the majority of our lineups but we have great options for several of them plus swapping positions between them.
The problem we are going to have is our back 4. JT still has 2 good years in him at top level so hoping he stays but our weakness if JT doesnt play is Cahill. When hes been with Zouma hes been very nervous and panicked when the balls crossed into the box. It seems that JT has covered alot for him this season. Zouma works ok with JT but isnt ready to start yet but give it a year or 2 he will be very good. He needed a loan out this season. Bane is great but at 31 very soon hes only got the same as JT. Dave well theres not many better. But if Bane was to maybe take cahills space Dave can take his proper position to leave Felipe to start. No problems there. But we will be left very weak if injuries. With 2 maybe 3 of our starting back 4 reaching the ends of their careers we need to start looking at replacements. With the rest of the squad at a very good average age wise they are at a stage where they can grow together and stay at the level theyre at now for a good few years to come. We need a couple of CBs the likes of Varane so we can start grooming them now as we are Zouma for when the time comes to start them. With that little tweak we can rule the EPL like Fergies early United years.
