After signing for £30 million in the summer, and becoming the most expensive teenager in world football, there were doubts surrounding Luke Shaw – even Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho questioned his price tag and worth to the side.

He’s improved considerably over the last few games, but this clash was his shining moment.

He unfortunately missed an opportunity for a goal, but was rightfully named Man of the Match after the final whistle.
