It was a massive gamble for Rodgers this week - and it failedThings are looking increasingly bleak for Liverpool and their manager Brendan Rodgers, and after two defeats in a somewhat crunch week, it is no wonder.

The Reds came so close to winning the title last season and had to make do with Champions League football, yet are struggling to get out of their group and with manager Brendan Rodgers making the decision to rest five of his first team against Real Madrid, the Chelsea clash became even more vital.

Had Liverpool managed to become the first team to beat Chelsea this season and close that gap at the top, Rodgers would have been hailed a hero. However, football is a game of fine margins and a loss now looks even worse.

Liverpool has never been a one man team.BR is making it look like so. He is making history at anfield by failing to cater for absence of Suarez. HIS silly post match comments, after defeat are making liverpool even more laughable .TIME for owners to take action.
