Arsenal dominated the first half, creating numerous chances while keeping United firmly at bay but despite all of their hard work Wenger’s men couldn’t break through and went into the break 0-0, a score line that greatly flattered United.
Then in the second half came that unfortunate Kieran Gibbs own goal which caused Arsenal to have to chase a game that they really should have wrapped up early on.
The Gunners inability to shut down weaker opponents regardless of all of the experience and talent they have is worrying and leaves them a staggering 15 points adrift of leaders Chelsea.
